Box Lunch or Cocktails on the Beach

We have new chairs on the beach ...just waiting for you to relax with a nice Box Lunch from the Club.  Call Freddy in advance to order anything you like from the Lunch Menu.  It will be waiting for you to take over to the beach with your favorite beverage. These spots are popular, so remember to throw a few extra beach chairs in the car to make sure that you will still have a nice seat on the beach if the Club chairs are already occupied.

(And for those not in the know, if you are in bathing suits, you can always use the boaters’ bathroom facilities at the Club’s lower level.  Just ask Freddy for the passcode numbers.) 

And, how about “Sundowner Cocktails?”  Sunsets during February range from 6:11 PM to 6:29 PM, just the right time to have a cocktail on the beach and then dinner at the Club.  Norman will be happy to provide your favorite beverage as a carry out.  Great for a casual   evening with friends or guests… or get a group together before your TGIF! You can even create your own “Box Picnic”.  Check out the Light entrees on the Dinner Menu for several items which are easy to enjoy al fresco.

 (It’s easy to locate a trash container on the beach before you leave...everyone will appreciate that.)

Sunday Brunch--February 19th       Serving from 10 a.m. -- 3 p.m.

 Did you miss last month’s Sunday Brunch? Jeff and Freddy did an outstanding job in creating a truly    delicious spread.  After church or just for lunch, come and enjoy the Club’s traditional brunch entrees.  And, it’s a relief not to have to deal with the normally very crowded Sanibel-Captiva restaurants at that time on Sundays.

Have you visited our new website yet?  It is now so easy to make your dinner reservations on-line, plus add any note that you would like to pass on to Freddy.

Just go to captivaiyc.net, click on “Dining Reservations” in the Home page “Quick Links”, enter your member information (don't forget to put the "CIYC" before your membership number) ; you will be brought directly to the reservation page. You can also click the Dining heading and then click the box on the right hand side for "Member Dining Request". Please make your reservations this way or via e-mail any time before 1:00 p.m.  After that, please phone the Club with your reservation.
